“In the past few years, we committed to creating a constructive partnership with this great Institution. Now we pledge to keep this partnership alive and updated, with a focus on sustainable development”

– Francesco Starace, Enel CEO

In his speech, Francesco Starace pointed out MAXXI’s peculiarities and its “openness”, while recalling the “extraordinary” work it has done in recent years to continue to be a “living and open” space, which “people are happy to visit”. This idea was shared throughout the entire digital marathon: ten hours of live broadcast with artists, architects, designers, art critics, curators, scientists and representatives of major Italian and international institutions who, with live debates and video contributions, discussed the future of museums in the light of the pandemic, focusing on their role, social function and digital potential.

Therefore, new challenges arise and MAXXI will face them relying on Enel’s support, as CEO Francesco Starace pointed out: “In the past few years, we committed to creating a constructive partnership with this great Institution. Now we pledge to keep this partnership alive and updated, with a focus on sustainable development”.
