The FTSE4Good Index was developed by FTSE Russell, the leading global provider of benchmarks, analytics, and data solutions with multi-asset capabilities. The index evaluates the performance of companies in different environmental, social and governance areas, based on publicly available data. It also confirms the importance of transparency on the part of companies in these areas. Enel’s commitment to ESG practices – which Francesco Starace has always strongly supported – continued in the second half of the year: Enel was indeed reconfirmed following FTSE4Good’s review of the second half of 2021.

Our business model, which is based on the creation of shared value for all our stakeholders, continues to be greatly appreciated by the most important sustainability indexes, strengthening our position as a global leader in the energy industry,” CEO and General Manager Francesco Starace said in conclusion.
